Wausau Equipment Completes Plant Expansion

FOND DU LAC, WI – Wausau Equipment Company has completed an expansion of its Fond du Lac facility to keep pace with increasing demand for its airport snow removal and ice control products. The additional space will be used for assembly of the SnoDozer™ severe-duty chassis and Wausau’s growing range of high speed runway brooms and high output snow blowers. Wausau’s Fond du Lac facility is located adjacent to the Fond du Lac County Airport in the newly developed Aeronautical Industrial Park. The facility is specifically designed for research and development, final assembly and testing of heavy-duty snow removal and ice control equipment. KELLER, a Design/Build General Contractor with offices in the Fox Cities, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau, completed the plant expansion on September 1. The original construction was completed by Keller in 2009.
